I just saw the episode today and I didn't notice that Shino changed her clothes until way way after, ha ha... as for the "strange dude", that'd be Tri-Edge. He plays a big role in the video game... and that's all I know. I used to be a big //hack fanboy, but I haven't been keeping up.

It might indeed be true that the two new bodies that Naobi and Ender make use of are stolen players. In fact, now that you mention it, I could've sworn that I saw these persons appear in an episode before. That, or my memory's being fuzzy again.

It's also quite a mystery as of what Ovan managed to lock into his arm. In any case, it'll be something that Naobi and Ender didn't really suspect. Then there's also the matter of the strange dude who looks like the main character from .Hack//Dusk and the Signs. Do they have something to do with Ovan, or is their part in this story totally different?

For some reason I started to laugh when I saw those two that tried to hack into Ovan's hand. They just look too ridiculous...

Going by some of Naobi and Ender's conversation in the last episode I got the impression that they had stolen those player characters and that they weren't at all concerned about the accounts being suspended. If so then I'll bet their new characters aren't newbies at all but yet more stolen ones. I also got the feeling they've done the same thing they're doing to Ovan to others in the past, maybe as part of stealing the characters.

I'm not surprised that Ovan's not showing any happiness, it seems pretty obvious that what they're doing to him is unpleasant. (It looks to me like they're data-draining him.) He may have planned for this but that doesn't mean he's going to enjoy the pain. I really suspect that his arm exploding is going to be worse for Naobi and Ender than for himself. ;)

All this makes me wonder if the focus this time isn't more on hackers than anything else. It could be that Naobi and Ender are "evil" hackers trying to abuse the game for some purpose and Ovan is a "good" hacker trying to stop them. I also won't be very surprised if Naobi or Ender manage to steal Ovan's player character and Haseo ends up having to fight it (alone or with help). Ovan told him to get strong way too many times, there's got to be a reason for that.
