Agree with the second comment, I think Real in the storeroom is the real one. The following scenes are rather unclear, but maybe she managed to escape and went to the roof where she encounter the proxy again. Follows another scene with the proxy falling from the roof: in the middle of the fall he transform into Real... He awakes when Vincent is gone and tell Pino to wait at the counter while he get to intercept Real after she locked Vincent on the roof... sounds weird, but i cannot think of a better explanation. I think Real couldnt have survived the fall without further injuries.

I enjoy reading these old posts as I watch Ergo Proxy as I can't think of everything it symbolizes. As for the storeroom scene, I think the Proxy acted as Pino and acted like he was going to kill Re-l. After Vincent locked the door he got to Re-l and beat her unconcious.

The only thing I can't understand is whether the body of Re-l falling from the roof is the Proxy or not. If it is, then who is the person on the roof? If not, then how did Re-l survive that without any injuries except being rendered unconcious?

Interesting point you made about the other proxy thinking that Real and Vincent were a couple. I never thought about that way but now that you've pointed it out I have to agree with you. I didn't catch the fact that the fake Real mentioned Pino as the 'auto-reiv' in the storeroom either, but that's a small story hickup. Unless it was actually the real Real and Pino really did try something? Then again, Pino herself said that there were only one of her and Pino's words are truth.. Great episode either way! :P
