Okay, I totally LOVE this anime, I own the box set, and have watched it several times... I have to admit I cried (real tears and everything) through many parts in this series, but this last episode was emotional... Firstly, it is sad, but happy too, also it was the end of the series, which in its self is depressing... And the fact that there was not and opening like normal but the song Idea was playing during a crucial point in the episode was very good. As much as it would rock if there were a second season, I am not sure if it would be done... Yes it did leave much to be answered, but it is one of those things that will leave you wanting more and perhaps forever wondering... If they did continue with the series, it would be interesting to see where they would go with it... Like Atori said, the future is interesting because we don't know what's going to happen next!

I DO have one question... What the heck happened to Atori? Did he return back to his timespace? Waah, I'm kind of sad it ended. T_T Although... it does leave a good feeling about the future, whatever it may be. :]

Hmm, it's been a while since I saw this series, and my memory is a bit fuzzy about this. I believe that Kosagi and Karasu lived, though don't take my word on that one. Also, I don't think Lacryma returned to its original state.

Ok, so I have become within the last few weeks a MAJOR Noein fan! After watching a few episodes on the SciFi Channel that were shown out of order, I had to buy the entire series. Still after watching the final episode, episode 24; don't ask me how, I have a few questions. 1. What happened to Karasu, did he just disappear? 2. Did Kosagi just die, as some have implied in other blogs? 3. What happened to Lacrima, I truly expected it to transform into some beautiful place after everything was said and done. Either way Noein is awesome. And if there is a fan site out there on the internet, I want to join it. SO, I implore everyone if you haven't watched Noein, do so - immediately! You won't regret it.
