Chor Tempest never had a real 'veteran' leadership when it came to squadron maneuvers until now. Second, I suspect that the peace offer is sincere for they got what they sought; the simouns of their own. Once peace treaty is signed, they will take them apart to study them in hopes of replicating them. They want to do this for survival of their civilization, for the other option is slow, agonizing death from pollution.
