I'm also getting the feeling that .Hack//Roots will have a very inconclusive ending. The reason I'm not doing any extensive research on this is because of the spoilers. ;) And I have to admit, I never would have thought that Haseo would be able to understand the language of flowers. :P I’m indeed beginning to think that .Hack//Roots and .Hack//GU are two parts of one entity. So I think it keeps up with SIGN's pace but you need to have knowledge about the series of PS2 games .hack//GU volumes 1-3 to understand the anime really well.
