Was wondering why on earth no group is subbing it... Was rather shocked when YouTube deleted all things related to Bakumatsu... but other Anime by SunRise were also subbed... I really do hope someone do the subbing... unless the words are just too hard to understand... For now I'm just getting the RAW and trying to figure out... As for the characters' names, I've to use both the official site and AnimeNewsNetwork for comparison... I guess you can figure out their name from ANN... Great review! This is SUNRISE productions btw. I'm loving every bit of Bakumatsu, but alas, it suffers from lack of HYPE, (( due to overhype of stuff like D.Gray-Man, KANON, Death Note )) SUNRISE (( It seems to be pretty popular these days to neglect Sunrise stuff even when they're good but not Gundam )) and the lack of subs to penetrate the regular viewers. Bakumatsu is good, but at the same time, it's not something that is easy to watch and sub. Sunrise Inc series on Youtube all got killed. This is SUNRISE productions btw.

As far as your comment on Kannon, I think that series is all hype. I watched the 1st episode and I dont see what the big fuss about it is an avg series with a nice design budget nothing more.
