It catches it, but doesn't keep it. Though this is probably my ridicolously high and strange standards again, and you won't have that problem, I don't really think I'll look out for more. On the other hand, it's only 2 episodes so my judgement may be(read; probably is)a bit rushed. But trying to show emotion in those kind of eyes just horribly fails. Not that the art is instantly crap or something, I just find it's not fitted for what they're trying to show. They lose theirselves in the theory that says anime is about showing, not telling, while they really should focus on telling because they are inable to show. I'm also pleasantly surprised to find out you're Dutch (lol ik ook XD). Oban's character design reminds me a lot of Medabots. I haven't seen it yet though..
