Oban star racers, I saw two episodes now, and despite it's featuring quite some good points, it doesn't really keep my attention. It catches it, but doesn't keep it. Though this is probably my ridicolously high and strange standards again, and you won't have that problem, I don't really think I'll look out for more. On the other hand, it's only 2 episodes so my judgement may be(read; probably is)a bit rushed. But trying to show emotion in those kind of eyes just horribly fails. Not that the art is instantly crap or something, I just find it's not fitted for what they're trying to show. They lose theirselves in the theory that says anime is about showing, not telling, while they really should focus on telling because they are inable to show.

I've been following your blog for some time, mainly for The Third, I love that series. I'm also pleasantly surprised to find out you're Dutch (lol ik ook XD). Oban's character design reminds me a lot of Medabots. I haven't seen it yet though..

Hey :)

Oban Star racer is a project made by SAV the world (or something like that)
It all began in France :) And is a cross France-Japan project. This is probably the reason it's released in the Netherlands.
