So Kanna is following Nakaiya under Parkes' orders. I think Glover is largely out of the picture and Kakunojou is probably scared of those things because she's in a dark and misty place and such, and unlike in episode 11 she's not got the rest of the troupe around for safety. And I think you probably saw those ghosts at the end of episode 8.
