First why did they have to turn Lief's hair blonde, what is black hair no longer good enough? And second...Jasmine in the skirt, okay i get it she's in an anime and even though she's portrayed better than other female anime characters she's still in a skirt! I mean come on i've read all these books and she's grown up in a forest! Her persoanlity, she looks down fancy outfits at one part of the series and now they dress her up in them. Seriously this is so not being true to her character. I making allowances cause its anime but really is it that bad to see a female character not wearing a skirt? For those who are interested... the series of books go as follows. Actually I thought this might be a 26 episode series, 3 episodes or so per book or location, but TVTokyo's early morning shows are usually long running ones 39 or 52 (as you probably know from blogging someof them) so I think we can expect a long series. They may do the other books after DQ, but I couldn't find any concrete evidence of the length. I'm hoping for a long run though, especially if the quality remains consistent. Cheers.
