I was really pleasantly surprised with this episode - particularly how Marius’s first meeting with Les Amis de l’ABC turned out. They were really sticking to the book, and Combeferre and Enjolras made my inner fangirl emit high-pitched noises of glee. xD

Oh, I know he’s kind of ebil. That’s one of the reasons why he makes my panties tinkle just as much as Spandam from One Piece did / does.

And no problem with helping ya romanize stuff. ^___^;;; I’d imagine Frappenese (just made up ze word…) is hell….

Thanks for spelling Courfeyrac for me. I kept wondering how the heck you would romanize it. If there’s anything worse than Japanese English, it’s Japanese French. These amis looked pretty interesting, by the way. I’m wondering what kind of role they have in the future episodes.

And yes, if you don’t know the context that face of Thenardier can be quite misleading. ^^;

Oooh…. is that Enjolras in the bottom right corner? I can’t wait to see him (and the other amis) in the anime, though I’m not a rabid fangirl of him. The episode looks awesome….

The look on Thenard’s face in the bottom left is priceless.
