It looks quite a lot like Europe, but I'm positive the train station they were waiting at was Grand Central. That's also part of the reason I'm so interested in Baccano! Alchemy is original concept that is stand-alone from that anime. So far at least 4 people in this series have the immortality. Probably more aswell.
