Its amazing how they go even into the tinyest details of
Les Miserables. Like how Marius thinks Cosetre's name is Ursula

I was worried they'd leave out Javert's entrance, but it was perfect! I'm so happy!! Would have been better if they had left in the pistol and pavestone, though... Can't wait to see how the series continues, fingers crossed that it remains close to the novel.

I'm certain they left it in! That is, if I'm not entirely mistaken and "boushi" does indeed mean hat. Because I'm fairly certain both Thenardier and Javert said that.

Would you like my hat??

I'll have ta rewatch it, after looking up Japanese words for "hat," because I suck.

It looked like they left the line out, though. But Thénardier was awesome...

You're right - that was an awesome episode. :D I'm a little disappointed that they left out the misfiring pistol and paving-stone chucking bits during the arrest, but I guess they can't make Javert look too awesome because he's supposed to be the "bad guy." Other than that I'm very pleased with how it all turned out. :D

This episode looks like pwn, though I've been focusing a bit more on Higurashi lately. This is definitely the year for Higurashi, after all...

Valjean looks too moé in the bottom right panel. Weird.....

The Thénardiers abuse their stool. First he sticks his foot through it in a drunken fit f anger, then she kicks it down and shatters one or two of the legs, and now she's hitting Jean with it! Branding irons like the one Thénardier has are a bit more fun, if scarier.

Looking forward to how Javert was handled here, *looks around to see if a certain friend of hers, who thinks she's a Javert fangirl insanely in love WHEN SHE ISN'T, is around...*
