I was actually surprised seeing it there and I went "nooooooooo". Besides that, it is a very touching episode. The construction worker scene is funny. I kept laughing when the guy just couldn't push a single button on the machine. :D And I think it's a baseball field that the illegal is in. Not a soccer field. I agree though, Haraken's aunt looks kinda odd in her school uniform. I think it's an all-girls' school too. I can recognize the kanji for "shoujo" there.
