But if he is cold towards the kids, that's for another reason that was mentioned in the manga but apparently was not in the anime: In the manga, Tony actually miraculously grows up right before the attack on Nasca. Physis was trying to awake him from his coma by going into his mind, but Tony was angry at her, blaming her for Karina's death and calling her a human. Later, Tony tells Jomy that while she was trying to read his mind, he was trying to grow bigger, and he read hers. Tony is the one who tells Jomy that he had a premonition (saying he learned how from Physis) that if they didn't leave Nasca right away, they would all die. Jomy had previously had a vision of missiles flying towards Nasca. They got some people on Nasca in rockets to leave, but those who wanted to remain chose to go underground. As Nasca was attacked, Jomy felt those still on Nasca crying out for help telepathically, and saw them being burned to death (described it as an inferno), and he wanted to go back to Nasca to help them, but was held down by others on the ship. He shook them off with physical and telepathic attacks, but Harley got angry at him and hit him, saying he was being too reckless. Tony told him that his parents didn't give birth to him, but that Jomy did, saying it was because he allowed them to get married, and because a mother gave birth to him. He also says he is strong because Jomy prayed for him to be born strong, stronger than a Mu or human, but Jomy later thinks that this isn't what he meant. So this is probably why he's cold to the children. Even the other Mu think they lack a human element. Not to mention that Tony speaks ill of Physis, which Jomy doesn't appreciate for any reason. Even so, Jomy is using the kids as the most powerful weapons the Mu have ever had. Even when Artella and Tachyon die, he refuses to give them the time to grieve, because they don't have time for it. With only seven people doing all the fighting, it is crucial that they get to Terra and destroy the SD government quickly. If they stall for too long the Terran forces will easily overpower the Mu forces since they are, more or less, at war with each other. I don't think Jomy will ever reach the point where he'll kill more than he has to. His ultimate goal is to give the Mu a peaceful life afterall. Besides, even though Blue is dead now, Jomy still respects and looks up to him. I mean, why else was he heading into Blue's room for? The problem is the other Mu might not understand his intentions and will truly drift away from Jomy. I personally don’t think Jomy is going down the wrong path. At first he appeared to be a nice guy but after everything that happened on Nazca I thought wow he's really a bad guy. Now I'm not so sure. I like that he was using his position to protect Swena and the fact that he's virtually abondoned Artemisia is unexpected too. Keith is pretty complex. I can't wait for the next episode! Jomie and Keith seem to be exchanging positions. It's kind of like Keith is finding his heart while Jomie has lost or is losing his. I wonder if Swena and Sam will help Jomie rediscover his "raison d’être" again and if that happens how will Tony handle their reunion with Jomie? Tony's shown that he doesn't like competition when it comes to his Grandpa's attention. Plus Physis is in mourning and not much help to anyone right now but I think she still has a part to play with Keith. So much to look forward to!! I agree!
