I have to say Baccano is a great show. I've always been a fan of the tommy-gun-toting era of speakeasies and mobsters (the early-mid 90s Batman cartoon, the prohibition episode of the Simpsons, Last Man Standing, even the Rocketeer and Dick Tracy movies are guilty pleasures of mine). I think the Baccano writers are taking a cue from the popularity of shows with huge ensemble casts (Heroes, Lost, etc.).

Miria and Isaac are definitely a ditzier version of Bonnie and Clyde. My favorite character so far would have to be Ennis; what's not to love about a cute homunculus right hand henchwoman with the smart fashion sense of the Final Fantasy VII Turks and who knows how to handle herself in a fight? The fact that she befriends Miria and Isaac, and appears to end up on the side of the "good guys" (Firo and co.) are just icing on the cake. More Ennis please!

The whole immortal elixir angle is pretty interesting and the latest eps answered my questions as to when the story would shift to another era outside of the 1930's. There are some shadings of Full Metal Alchemist in the plot but it's not too blatant, I don't think.

I usually use the program called "Share" to get my raw files, so sorry, I've no idea where you can see this episode on streaming.

Nice therioes on the RT being Dallas ;D. In the next episode you'll be able to confirm who it is :D. (I don't want to spoil it for you >__>...)
