So far I've only had the chance to watch Dragonaut and it seems quite promissing. But they could cut the boob shots, I mena, every girl in the show has humoungus boobs, what's with that? Aren't there regular sizes available anymore? And at least they could NOT gives us that many shots of it.
Aside from that (quite annoying) part, I really enjoyed the first episode. Shows promisse.

As for Kaiji, and the despite the character design that usually wouldn't appeal to me, I'll give it a shot. I've thought, since I first saw the resume, that it could be pretty good. I hope you're right about this opne as well.

I feel like the whole Japanese animation industry have used up all of their talents and ideas and are now just trying to find excuses (aka. fan-service series) to sell their products... this season's concepts, if looked over as an overview, is just a repetition of what has been produced before. Da Capo, Dragonaut (Gonzo: just give up), and Clannad being the top examples.

if you like the first anime you might also enjoy Akagi,don't know if you have heard of it but it has exactly the same animation,the episode i saw was very tense and even if i did not know the rules of mahjong it was still good
about the three animes i am still not sure what to think but i am sure that at least 3-4 animes of this season will be great

Chris: I disagree with that, actually. In my opinion, this is just a bad season. The past spring and summer-season had quite an amount of unique and original titles, though it seems that right now, all the generic stuff comes out. The next season could be something completely different as well.

Sorry if I flooded your inbox with a bunch of comments! Anyway to make this comment relevant is it me or are fewer and fewer good titles coming out each season? Seems like most anime is reverting back to the 1990s where "all action, no plot" was everywhere but atleast the 90s had a few reviolutionary titles like Key the Metal Idol, Hana Yori Dango and alot more. It just seems like anime these days is more about the otaku crowd than anything else. It's shows like Goshushou-sama Ninomiya-kun that make me prefer watching Japanese dramas than checking out anime.

Chris: sorry, I have no idea how that happened, but sometimes Blogsome decides on random comments that it wants to hold them for approval. I've approved it now, so your comment should have showed up.

He did? Oh, that's my mistake then. It's one less thing for this show to fix. ^^;
