I saw this episode not too long ago (someone from Japan has actually subbed some bits of later episodes into English, although only this one all the way through), and it was then that I saw that . . . *bites lip to restrain laughter* . . . Javert misspells Enjolras’ name in the strangest way possible. He spells it “Eenjolras.” XD I couldn’t breathe for a few minutes.

Ninee,problem i have is this:since i’m french (are you?) les misérable= school,homework,test,essays,interogations (and not just about the book,but the movies too)
school really took out the enjoyement of the story for me,the LAST anime i’d want to watch would be les misérable.
To avoid this happening with other stories,i decided to go ahead and read some classics before i study them in school,and that has worked out well.

This is quite entertaining. This anime is based on a classic French novel by Victor Hugo called Les Misérables, so it’s interesting to see you getting excited about this story when for me it is quite old. But it reminds me it is not a classic for nothing, and an excellent story. You will see a lot of heroes in it, all of them normal people with a strong heart. Gavroche is one of them, he is a famous figure in France and has been painted in a famous painting called “Freedom leading the people”, who was subsequently printed in bills… Oh well, this anime can be good with such an inspiration! :)
