The only downpoint has been the episode set in the future. Thou I will admit that it'll be nice to be back with the main characters next episode. But whether she's a sterotypical villain or not this chapter really was needed. They literally are just a checklist of scenes you have to play through in order to reach Matsuribayashi-hen in the games. I can understand that it does feel like a bit of an info dump, though. And Ryukishi purposefully kept the characters looking the same in order to cast doubt upon their actual ages. Shmion and Keiichi are either 14 or 17, and Satoko and Rika are either 9 or 12 (maybe 13). Nobody knows. The Puzzle Pieces aren’t supposed to be integrated with the main storyline.
