This series really has been the only consistant high point this year, it's not as good as the actual game but it's still sooo much better than the rest of others. The only downpoint has been the episode set in the future. Thou I will admit that it'll be nice to be back with the main characters next episode. But whether she's a sterotypical villain or not this chapter really was needed.

I'm surprised you didn't like this episode a little more than that. I thought it was pretty damn good -- best in the story arc so far, by quite a bit. Can't wait to see what happens next!

The Puzzle Pieces aren't supposed to be integrated with the main storyline. They literally are just a checklist of scenes you have to play through in order to reach Matsuribayashi-hen in the games.

I can understand that it does feel like a bit of an info dump, though.

And Ryukishi purposefully kept the characters looking the same in order to cast doubt upon their actual ages. Shmion and Keiichi are either 14 or 17, and Satoko and Rika are either 9 or 12 (maybe 13). Nobody knows.
