Tamako joined the Coil Investigation Agency after Mega-Baa rescued her from the other side, and I think that Mega-baa founded the Agency only after Yasako's grandfather went missing (otherwise he would have had a number as well). I'm not sure if her grandfather was still around when Yasako met 4423, but I put my money on Nekome. Something tells me that the original purpose of the Coil Investigation Agency was to get Yasako's grandfather back, and I can imagine how Nekome would want that to happen, since he considers him as his teacher.

I'm still cheering for Densuke - to the extent of hoping that the next episode starts from his point of view. After all, the effect of being grabbed by the Nulls is to separate physical and dennou body, with the dennou 'self' then led off into the C domain. But Densuke has no physical body, so I'm hoping that what has happened is that he is now deep in the C domain getting ready to chomp down on whoever needs it.

Who do you suppose is the #1 member of the Coil Investigation Agency? Megabaa is #0, Tamako is #2. Could it have been 4423? Nekome? Megabaa's memory of that time seems to have been seriously scrambled.

Up until Ep 23 I was thinking that MegaMass were the bad guys. Now I'm not so sure. It now seems that the original Coil group screwed up badly, and maybe MegaMass is making a best effort attempt to clean up the mess.

It's more mysterious than ever just who or what Michiko might be. I can't even make a guess.

LA: Humiko... she was the other female member of the biology-club, wasn't she? It would indeed be awesome if she had some kind of final role in the series.

hssc: I use the program called Share to get my episodes of Dennou Coil.
