And as Papilo said, we see him in the ending with another girl, who probably isn't Lillia. It would be a little bit worrying if Allison and Wil's daughter ended up with Carr who's older than both her parents... *confused*

I guess a new opening will be made for the second half, starring Lillia and Treize. =) About this episode, even with a expected final, the sacrifice of the old man, this episode was amazing. (They changed a lot this episode, btw.) Just one note - the suave enemy pilot's name is Benedict, and he met Alison at a binational meeting and asked her out.
