Nice top 5, as usual. I'm only halfway through Kaiba, but damn, it beats out the rest of the season by miles, with only Kyouran Kazoku Nikki coming close with a very funny pirate parody adventure for Ep 10, and some interesting tidbits on Kyouka's past in that little Shinigami arc.

And I didn't know Karura had a blog. Nice little surprise there.

Maybe it's just me...but I would find it difficult to keep up with so many shows, not to mention that my ignorance of Japanese discourages me from watching raws except once every full moon. Which is why I mostly watch "older" stuff and only two or three currently airing series (and not because I think they're "better" than anything else...in fact, I could even argue otherwise).

That said...what I've seen of Nijuu Mensou no Musume has been fun, usually well-written and entertaining. I'm looking forward to Kaiba whenever I can get around to it, but looks like I'll marathon the whole thing after everyone has moved on to something else.

Wind: "It began 37 episodes ago, my friend. "

I was wondering when someone would say that.

But different people have different opinions.

I was enjoying Chi's Sweet Home anyway, but yeah, a fat cat does always improve things.

I was confused about Allison and Wil just accepting Major Stork's story too, "oh look, here's a clearly suspicious man, let's go along with his plans without explanation or evidence."

Code Geass started to slip just a little but that little corny scene helped to bring Lelouch back to his original goal, to protect his sister. It's gotten a little away from that as she has been outside of the picture.

Kaiba's hiatuses are seriously frustrating, I keep forgetting it's there. I remember Ghost Hound got huge delays in Winter 07, and that was probably one of the best shows that season. Some sort of Jinx.

And I like your comment about Wagaya no Oinari-sama, because I swear to god you share the same opinion as hundreds of other people. It shouldn't be good, but it is - not to mention it pulls out action scenes and decent animation almost randomly.

About Soul Eater, I disagree. There are tons of people out there to recommend it to - except they're all rabid Bleach and Naruto fanboys. I am enjoying Soul Eater, but the pacing is really starting to damage the whole show - hopefully the rumour that Bones are speeding up the storyline is true.

I'm interested to see your next monthly summary, since it will be the full array of the summer season by then.

Shame on Kaiba's hiatuses! It's such a great series too! I'd say it would be the best of the spring season if it actually stayed in the season itself, but since its not over...

Oh well. =(

Urgh… The only bad thing about Kaiba is the fact that it keeps taking these bloody hiatuses. This is no way to treat the best series of the spring season.

That's true, but just think it will last longer (and it gives time for the subs to catch up). :)
