I already knew this from the manga but there are several differences. I can't wait to see the RAWs which, thanks to your summaries, I can actually watch. The manga is being translated online by a group called DRAGON VOICE and it is quite interesting to compate it with the series. There are many differences-like in this one Amachi was actually a brand new employee with a quirky personality. She was only in this one episode and it was rather sad when they discovered her thoughts from her dying brain. Go and check out the manga!
