The two share a moment in the past together,which should be featured in anime??, that 's why Anotsu can't let her go to waste. For Makie , she took the job because she loves him, not for money. She will come back again later. Well , Makie is the best swordman in the series anyway XD. And at first , Anotsu is the one who ordered her to take care of Manji.
