They did some horrible attempt at giving Kalta some depth with his amazing cooking skills and him talking about his favourite anime, but with him being such a poorly developed character it was like hanging a "kill me" sign on his neck. The only thing that was missing was him saying somthing like "HEY DUUDZ YOU KNOW WHAT, I'M GETTING MARRIED TOMMOROW" However, despite the supporting characters being flat and uninteresting, it's still an enjoyable action series, but it could have been so much more :( Yeah it’s pretty obvious that all the other characters are expandable trash and what makes it so laughable is that they are given no room to grow at all, so you really don’t give a shit when they die.
