Hello. Nowdays it's not really possibly to create something absolutely original - seldom do you find anime\manga that bring something new...It may be typical but I enjoy it still. The animation is really fabulous, in my opinion.
Although those fillers could have been done so that Ayanami wouldn't have direct links to the Kor - they just do what they do, without his medling. Mikage was the only one he sent by him directly. After that, he gets a little more serious, in the manga at least. They are twisting things a bit, and some things come out strange. If I remember correctly, he could only release his power with the bascule in the hall full of Kors, like this episode...
I'm curious how they'll continue.

Regardless of how formulaic this anime is, the animation is simply beautiful. <strike>And I usually don't do this but...</strike> That alone will keep me coming back every week. 8D

I think I'll start reading the manga once the anime is completed.

<i>for the past twelve episodes, Ayanami an his henchmen hardly did anything other than turning people into ghouls and having Frau kill them.</i>
=== I didn't think of it that way because of my manga background. IF I remember correctly, the only thing that Ayanami had actually sent to capture Teito was Mikage. As for the first Kor, it was in the manga but I don't remember it being clarified in the manga that it was Ayanami who sent it, while the next two kors are anime fillers.

While in this episode, I think I need to review the manga, but if I remember correctly once again, after the Mikage thing he sent his own henchmen/servants next, not kors.

Oh well, will confirm once I've reread the manga and watched this episode xD Ehehe . . . .*counts the hours* ;_;

Sounds like one of those rare cases of... doesn't introduce anything innovative, but what it does do, it just does <i>right</i>. It's just interesting! Nobody said a formula show can't stand on its own and be interesting *cough Kekkaishi cough*.

Same here, i when i sit back and think, the anime is nothing special... It might be repetitive, but to me all it says is that Ayanami wants him to grow stronger, not sure why yet, but that is the only reason why. Maybe he wants him to get noticed by the church so they kick him out since the church is sacred ground. I will keep watching because i think at some point i think its just going to explode..
