I heard she was too ill (from cancer) and stopped writing before she died: was the novel and story ever finished? Anyway only thing I was interested in was who is Guin. All the other characters with hackneyed names meh! I mean come on Rinda "Farseer" and Istavan "Spellsword", its a pity because it was reasonably good, although nowhere as near as good as Dune. This final episode had it all, from Remus the Lich King to Guin's epic Falcon Punch. This was truly an anime that felt right from the start, you know the feeling you get after finishing a certain anime and feel that something is missing or that you are just not satisfied and feel that you wasted your time.... Well Guin Saga, even though it gives no closure whatsoever, makes you not once regret that you watched such an epic series and wish for more. The show did had some awkward moments as well as awkward designs but it had this feeling of epicness where each encounters would mean a lot to the story, that final confrontation between Istovan and Guin is an excellent set up for a sequel (please, just do it guys). Guin, come back... Suni, Rinda, every one of us want you to stand once again!!!
